A Brisbanite born and bred, flautist Timothy Munro studied at the University of Queensland before abandoning the sunshine to do an Artist Diploma course amidst the flat cornfields of Northern Ohio, USA, at Oberlin College. Tim has performed as soloist and section player with many professional Australian orchestras and chamber ensembles. A passionate advocate for contemporary music, he has worked with composers including Elliott Carter, Oliver Knussen, Aaron Jay Kernis, and Brett Dean. He is an addicted commuter cyclist and gym junkie, forgoes necessities in order to add to an enormous classical CD collection, and is a reader and writer of blogs.

I humbly offer a minor suggestion as a sign of respect for a truly magnificent blog - "definitely", as opposed to "definately"...think of its derivation from "finite".
