Don't be afraid - it's me! Until I can work out how to actually put a photo on the sidebar of this blog, I'm going to put photos of me every now and then - mostly because I have found out how to add images, and it's really easy!

A Brisbanite born and bred, flautist Timothy Munro studied at the University of Queensland before abandoning the sunshine to do an Artist Diploma course amidst the flat cornfields of Northern Ohio, USA, at Oberlin College. Tim has performed as soloist and section player with many professional Australian orchestras and chamber ensembles. A passionate advocate for contemporary music, he has worked with composers including Elliott Carter, Oliver Knussen, Aaron Jay Kernis, and Brett Dean. He is an addicted commuter cyclist and gym junkie, forgoes necessities in order to add to an enormous classical CD collection, and is a reader and writer of blogs.

I would suggest you read the "Blogger Help" entry on putting a photo in your profile, but you're a man so I doubt you'll read the instructions. Look who's a good friend, devoutly reading your blog. Have you been returning the favor, dear Timmy?
Tim, glorious photo, shall I attempt to put a blog online? Problem is I have nothing to say... publicly anyway.
Fun to read your thoughts and hear the way you would say it in my head! BVegas is hot as usual...

Tim, Post a photo as normal. From your blog, right click and copy the URL of that photo. Then go to edit your profile and paste the URL there. Voila, you have permanent pic up top of your page. By the way, there is a limit to the size of the photo you use as your profile pic.
